Locks on the bridge that was formerly full of love locks. The story, as was told to me, is that there were so many locks on the bridge, that it was starting to be too heavy for the structure holding up the bridge. As a result, the city removed the locks, the rails, and replaced the railings with plexiglass to discourage locks being attached to the bridge.
While there is evidence below the walking surface of older locks, it appears the new locks are affixed to the lamp posts by being attached to a cable style bike lock.

I was amazed at how the road went right up to the apartments. It was then I noticed how the air conditioners have a protective cage around them and I was also impressed at the decorative work in the windows that appears to also be quite effective in deterring crime or break-ins.
